5MR (the 5 minute reset)

Set a timer on your phone or watch, close your eyes, and breathe. Just take five minutes as a mini meditation. This can do wonders if you do this once a day, and even better yet 2-3 times per day. It’s an alternative to a full one, traditional daily meditation session of 20-30 minutes. And better yet, it can be better implemented into your daily routine. It’s one of the features of the Integrated Wellness Movement, where you take simple, yet powerful steps each day to build to a better, healthier, more resilient self.

Single 20-30 minute daily sessions definitely have their benefits. And the 5MR isn’t meant to replace them. Rather, 5MR can get you a lot of the benefits in less time, and is much easier to fold into your daily schedule.
